Papers containing accounts of the Royal African Company relating to expenditure by their employees on goods such as groceries, medicine, guns, tobacco etc. for the maintenance of forts and settlements on the Gold Coast, together with letters certifying the accounts. There are also detailed lists of general indents for specific years, lists of named individuals with information on the purchases made by them, and summaries of accounts for individual years.
