This subseries contains two reports returnable to the House of Commons, dated 1758 and 1777. Both are reports on the affairs of the Company of Merchants Trading to Africa, with a specific remit to examine how money voted by Parliament had been spent on the maintenance of the forts and settlements belonging to the Company on the coast of west Africa. The 1777 report also has a wider remit to examine the general state of the trade to Africa.
