Bermuda: Somerset Island. Contoured map on three joined sheets. Compass indicator. Drawn by Lieutenant J T Buckmill, Royal Engineers. Inset: a panoramic view of the island, from west-south-west to east-south-east. Three small drawings of fortifications, on tracing cloth, are affixed to the map. Originally accompanying a report from Lieutenant Colonel Nugent, Royal Engineers, to the Director of Works, 10 June 1870.
