August 1836': map showing government property. Scale: 1 inch to 300 feet. Compass indicator. Drawn by Lieutenant John G [McKerlie], Royal Engineers; signed by Lieutenant Colonel [later Colonel] Thomas Fyers, Commanding Royal Engineer, 17 September 1836. Originally enclosed in a letter from Colonel Fyers to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 10 October 1837; the letter is not filed with this sheet.
