Russian Empire, Ottoman Empire and Persian Empire. Map of the Caucasus and north-western Persia, covering the area (now in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, the Russian Federation and Turkey) between Gagra, the Agrakhanskiy Peninsula, Tehran and Rize; showing roads, towns, rivers, Lake Sevan and Lake Urmia (Orumiyeh), and parts of the Black Sea and Caspian Sea. Reference table. Scale: 10 cm to 60 versts. Compass indicator. Prepared from surveys carried out by officials of the Quartermaster General's Office; compiled by Lieutenant Colonel Verkhovsky, 1817; engraved at the Military Topographical Depot of the [Russian] Imperial Chief of Staff, 1819.
