Egypt: Aswan. Plan and sections of the bank of the River Nile, on one sheet, showing [?flood defence] wall, and the occupiers of adjacent buildings. Scale: 1 inch to about 36 feet. Signed by H Pesare, Brigade Clerk, 10 March 1887. A later note states: 'This wall was washed away the year after'. Endorsed: 'No.7/1 Plan. In Pad No.2. Assûan District' and (in pencil): 'Sections of River Wall Assûan District'.
