Egypt: Cairo (El Qahira): Abdin. Four sheets of plans of the military police barracks. (1) Ground floor plan, showing the water supply system and proposed fire hydrants; MS, coloured, on tracing cloth. (2) A printed version, with MS colouring, of item (1). (3) Ground and first floor plans on a single sheet. MS, coloured. (4) Ground and first floor plans, on a single sheet of tracing cloth, differing slightly in detail from item (3). Reference note to item (3), in pencil. All items to scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. Compass indicator to item (2). Item (1) traced [?from item (3)] by Sapper V Russell, Royal Engineers, 16 October 1905. Item (3) measured and drawn by Lance Corporal E Liddiatt, Royal Engineers, 31 January 1890, and signed by Colonel H F Turner 5 February 1890. Item (4) traced from item (3) by Sapper W L Lawson, Royal Engineers, May 1900.
