Abstracts of scientific and technological papers received by the Technology Reports Centre of the Department of Trade and Industry from government research and development establishments, government supported bodies and other sources in the United Kingdom and overseas.

The series was discontinued in January 1982 when the Centre's work of acquiring, indexing and making available British report literature was taken over by the British Library Lending Division, whose monthly bibliography British Reports, Translations and Theses thereafter incorporated the type of material formerly included in the abstracts.

A series for research associations, circulated to industrial trade research associations, was also issued monthly until 1979 when it was decided to cease publication. The May-June 1979 edition is therefore the last issue in that series.
