Packet No 7: Papers relating to the American colonies and to British India. A collection of unbound loose sheets, stitched booklets, etc, grouped into several bundles, the folios numbered 1-419.

The first bundle, comprising folios 1-90 is described at item level.

Items 7-44 are papers of John Cruden, commissioner for the seizure and management of sequestered estates and property in South Carolina, 31 October 1780-7 June 1782. These are copies of letters from Earl Cornwallis, Lord Rawdon, and others, likewise of memorials, letters etc. respecting the business of real and personal sequestered property. The copies are in three stitched booklets (i) folios 7-20; (ii) folios 21-32; (iii) folios numbered 33-44.
