Catalogue description National Dock Labour Board: Statistical Returns and Forms

A collection of returns and forms compiled by the Statistics Section of the National Dock Labour Board (NDLB). Most of the completed forms relate to Tyne and Wear Local Board, and the chosen examples illustrate most aspects of the work of the board, providing a range of information about the workforce, and the type of information requested by the board.

There are five types of statistical return. BK 33/1-3 are files giving statistics on release schemes. BK 33/9 is a file containing examples of statistics forms in use in 1989, the year the NDLB was abolished.
