Oak chest. Rectangular coffer of quarter-sawn oak in a boarded construction, and divided into four compartments, each with a separate lock. Coffer bound with decorative bands of ironwork, ending in trefoil design, and forming strap hinges. Hasps of iron;the left modern, the remainder ending in an acorn or trefoil. Iron handles on side.
