Register of HCA 40/1-27 [mostly for captures subject to droits between 1793-1815 and of warrants relating to Russian [Crimean War] prize cases among miscellaneous papers in HCA 33/92-101.

This very detailed register provides an overview of (e.g.) the conflicting claims of the army and navy over the spoils of the battle of Saldanha Bay, July 1781, and related numerous appeals over 15 years. It is a good way to investigate complex and long-runing cases.
