The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 introduced Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs) and the related concepts of Sex Offender Orders and Parenting Orders. Among its other provisions were the creation of various specific racially- and religiously-aggravated offences; changes to youth justice; and the abolition of the death penalty for treason and piracy. |
