Weekly operation report number 52 operations in Southern Bulgaria, on the Struma Front and Turkey dated 16 March 1917 by Wing Captain, Francis Rowland Scarlett, Naval Air Service Headquarters, Mudros. Includes weekly state of aircraft of the RNAS in the Eastern Mediterranean giving geographical position, readiness for service beyond repair, under repair not erected and being erected. Mention of attack on Okjilar by Flight Sub-Lieutenant James Douglas Haig and Sub-Lieutenant John Earle Maxwell RN (folio 191; bombing of permanent way near Okjilar station by Flight Sub-Lieutenant Henry Davenport Graham and CPO Alfred Palmer Marchant and Flight Sub-Lieutenant Charles Gilmour and Herbert Maurice Green, (folio 192).
