This series contains records relating to records management policy and liaison about the management, transfer and access of records from public record bodies. This series contains three prefixes:

  • The RAS prefix relates to records management policies and public access to records;
  • The RAD prefix relates to the liaison with public record bodies about the management and review of their records;
  • The RAL prefix relates to the appointment of places of deposit for public records outside the Public Record Office and policies on their selection of records for preservation.
