Captured ship: Antigua Merchant (master Edward Coulter).

History: an English ship captured 9 January 1758 by the French ship St Roche, but ransomed for 3,333 guineas; the St Roche being taken by the Antelope privateer, with the hostage and ransom bill on board, Edward Coulter being condemned in the HCA to pay one-half of the value of the ransom to the Antelope but for seven years failing to do so.
