Folio 18. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to Mr N Polkinhorne, Assistant Overseer, Litcham, Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 17 December 1875 in respect of the report made by the district auditor after his recent audit of his accounts as assistant overseer of the parish of Litcham. It states that that the Board have communicated with the auditor on the subject and have received a reply. They request that Polkinhorne furnishes then with a further explanation.
