History: Danish merchant ship bound from St Eustatius to Rotterdam laden with sugar, coffee and cotton, captured on 19 March 1758 in Hastings Road by the Fox privateer (Richard Harman, commanding) and taken into Portsmouth.

Documents:

  • 1) Torres Toft's log of Constantia, from 1753 to 25 March 1758 (mentions capture at Hastings, 19 March 1758). In Danish or Norwegian. Marked No. 166.
  • 2) Mail-in-transit, Nos. 1 to 164 (some gaps).
