J West [Treasury official] to Edward Weston, secretary to the Right Honourable Earl Of Harrington, stating that the Treasury had 'received the enclosed letter [not filed here] signed Onslow Burrish by the hand of a foreigner and purporting to be a bill of exchange for the sum of £6,818.3.8.' The treasury Lords are at a loss to know to whom the sum should be paid and wish to have an answer from Lord Harrington. Dated at Treasury Chambers. |
