Administrative / biographical background:

The Local Authority Housing Finance Division was formed to handle policy in respect of capital and revenue funding of local housing authorities through the Housing Revenue Account and the Housing Investment Programme (HIP). The Division existed from 1989 to 2005 when its responsibilities weres absorbed into Housing Strategy and Finance (HSF).
