Administrative / biographical background:

Hut 3 was the main Government Code and Cypher School reporting section tasked with translating and then compiling intelligence reports on all German Army and Air Force Enigma traffic decyphered by Hut 6. The section retained its 'Hut 3' name even after it moved out of the original Hut 3 at Bletchley Park.
