Description:

Captured ship: St Hilarion de Nantes (master Gabriel Ernaud).

History: a vessel of 100 tons, laden with 80 hogsheads of salt, 6 hogsheads of blubber and 400 quintalls of core fish. Taken in fight by privateer Camberwell Galley (John Clarke commanding) on the banks of Newfoundland and brought into St John's, Newfoundland.
