Folios 307-309. Letter from Joseph Lowndes, Clerk to the Guardians of the Wolstanton and Burslem Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, enclosing amended dietary tables for children in the workhouse

asking for sanction to start them in the next quarter.

Enclosed is Dietary Table A and Dietary Table B for pauper children under nine years of age, providing information regarding the quantities of different foodstuffs to be provided at each meal. Signed by E Wedgwood, Chairman of the Wolstanton and Burslem Poor Law Union, and Charles Davenport, Medical Officer, 29 March 1869.
