Description:

Folios 149-150. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board. On the recommendation of the medical officer, Joshua Horton they seek sanction for a temporary change to the diet of the workhouse with soup to be replaced by rice. A copy of the diet is enclosed.
