Folio(s) 62. Letter from William Kirk, of Blidworth parish of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, in response to a letter from the Board, dated 23 January 1856. Kirk advises that he has not used the monthly statements that he should have done, as he has not the knowledge how to begin with them. In respect of the collecting and deposit books, he had found a mistake of £4, which the auditor reports in the casting of the same. Kirk states he has never had so much as £97 10s 4¾d.
