Folio(s) 61. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to William E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union. The letter refers to the Boards letter of 13 February 1856, relating the appointment of Theophilus Winter, as substitute to George Allsop, as relieving officer, who through bad health, could not perform the duties of his office. The Board wished to be advised whether Allsop has recovered his health and is in active discharge of his duties.Paper Number: 4414/1856.
