Folio(s) 22. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to William E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union. The letter acknowledges receipt of a letter, dated 15 January 1856, together with a resolution, requesting an additional guardian for Sutton in Ashfield. The letter advises that the Board is willing to sanction the increase in the number of guardians for Sutton in Ashfield and accordingly will issue an order directing the election of an additional guardian.Paper Number: 1910/1856.
