Klaus Werner LEHMANN. An active member of the German Communist Party both in Germany and Czechoslovakia, LEHMANN came to Britain in 1939. Here he was a leading German communist in exile. After a spell in the Pioneer Corps, latterly in Germany, LEHMANN moved to East Berlin where he worked for various East German organisations
