Description:

George Gostling, Doctors Commons to Samuel Seddon, Piccadilly. In the cause of the Rising States, formerly the Annabella, the adverse Proctor today, exhibited in Court the affidavits of Joseph Lunt late Lieutenant and Christopher Clark late Carpenter of the ship with two papers; list of Carpenter's stores and a list of Gunner's and Boatswain's stores, which were put on the vessel after she was taken and taken to Boston. Is sending copies of affidavits to lay before the Board and observes that they should be sufficient evidence that the stores were put on board, subsequent to the capture of the ship by the Rebels and so Sir Richard Bickerton, the Commander, and crew of the Terrible are entitled to them or the value of them exclusive of the 1/8th for salvage.
