The 'DAG' prefix was created by the Industry Sector, Industry and Agriculture Group, Agriculture Division (IAE1) in 1984. The creator continued under this organisational structure until 1995 when the agriculture, forestry, food, fisheries functions and EU Common Agricultural Policy moved to Overseas Finance (Sector) European Community Group, European Community Division 3.
