Catalogue description Treasury Solicitor: Ministry of Munitions Registers

Registers containing brief details of correspondence relating to legal business undertaken by the Treasury Solicitor on behalf of the Ministry of Munitions, and, from March 1921, by its successors, the Disposal and Liquidation Commission, later the Surplus Stores, etc, Liquidation Department.

The papers, to which the entries in the registers refer, mainly concern contracts, acquisition and disposal of land, patents of invention, etc, arising from the supply of munitions of war.
