Pedigrees, showing the descendants of named progenitors, compiled by claimants or their lawyers, in connection with claims handled by the Treasury Solicitor and HM Procurator General. Most of them relate to bona vacantia cases concerning the estates of deceased intestate persons.

In a few cases related documents, such as evidence of birth, burial, etc, are attached to the pedigree, and on occasions the title of the lawsuit concerned is indicated.
