Catalogue description Treasury: Grants Journals

These books record the individual transactions within and between the various votes, funds and accounts accounted for by the Treasury. They need to be read in conjunction with the registers of orders payable for the same period since they indicate a change in the nature of the transaction subsequent to the date of the original payment.
