Captain Augustus L'Hostine, Naples. After their careening at Livorno Sir John Narborough commanded him and Captain Wyborne to convoy merchants up the Levant towards Zante and Cepahlonia and they sailed in company of 16 merchant ships on the 12th of March. He had no opportunity to send muster books but is sending a list of his men. He has news of the French leaving Messina and Augusta, and the people of Messina surrendering to the Spaniards. |
