Description:

Theodoros (Theodore) VOKOS: Greek. Editor of the Greek 'Mercantile Marine Review', during World War II VOKOS worked for Radio Free Greece in Palestine. In 1949 he was convicted in Athens for contravening press and emergency state protection laws, imprisoned but later acquitted. In the 1950s he was a newspaper editor and publisher in London and suspected of involvement in Greek communist affairs. This suspicion was not confirmed by MI5 sources. With photograph.
