Folios 450-451: Richard Dalling Dunn, London.

Asks that HMS Royal George be fitted with 4x24 or 2x32 pound carronades. His own experience shows this would be advantagaeous and Vice Admiral Sir John Thomas Duckworth agrees. He answers the possible objection that this would make the ship top heavy by pointing out that except when they were in action the carronades would be stored below.
