Description:

Folios 55-56: D Campbell, HMS Rosamond, Spithead. Informing the Admiralty that a member of his ship went on a month's leave in February and has not returned.

Folios 57-58: enclosure with folios 55-56. Letter dated 15 June 1812 from a clergyman in Arbroath explaining that he has talked to the man, Able Seaman, Alexander Osmond, who is one of his parishoners who has informed him that he has no intention of returning to the ship.
