Folios 574-575: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reply to letter dated 11 October 1806 in the cases of H Quist and M Thomas whose discharge as Danish Subjects have been applied for by Mr Wolff the Danish Consul. Hans Quist was impressed on shore at North Shields on 25 August 1806 by Lieutenant [John] Mitchell having proof of a wife and family in South Shields. No man of the name M Thomas appears to have passed through the rendezvous. |
