Folios 353-356: George Burlton, HMS Ville de Paris, Port Mahon. He asks for a dispensing order so that he can receive his pay for the period 1 - 12 March 1811 when he was Captain of HMS Rodney. The accounts have been passed and muster and slop books provided with a certificate that no stores were expended during that time. Folio 354: enclosure with folios 353-356 dated 24 January 1812 from F.J.Hartwell, William Risler and J.Legge, the Navy Office to Captain Burlton, HMS Ville de Paris, Port Mahon. He should apply to the Admiralty to dispense with passing his accounts for the period when he was in command of HMS Rodney. They also ask for muster and slop books for 1-12 March 1811. Folio 355: enclosure with folios 353-356 dated 21 March 1811 from Captain [?] HMS Rodney, Port Mahon. Receipt for books and documents received from Captain George Burlton on superseding him. Folio 356: blank. |
