Jean PANAYOTTI, alias PANAYOTI, PANAETIS: Greek. Reported in 1929 to be a Bolshevik agent in France, in 1932 PANAYOTTI was involved in an OGPU plan to kidnap AGABEKOV, an alleged Trotskyist, in Romania. In 1941 he was reported to be working as an agent for the Germans, specialising in obtaining false passports
