This series contains files from the C series dealing with individual cases. Many files are from the Records Administration Division dealing with the appointment of individual places of deposit for public records, and guidance given to individual government departments on appraisal and public access to records. Other files deal with the retention and disposal of series of records, loans of records to other institutions, editorial work on records in the PRO, strayed public records, deposit of non-public records in the PRO, and the use of automatic data processing (computers) in individual government departments.
