The National Fraud Authority (NFA) was the government agency co-ordinating the counter-fraud response in the UK. It was set up in October 2008 in response to the government's Fraud Review in 2006. The NFA was an executive agency of the Attorney General's Office, before being transferred to the Home Office on 1 April 2011.
