Description:

Mikulas LUKAC, alias Mickulas LUKAC: Czechoslovak. An intelligence agent, after service in the Czech army and International Brigade in Spain in the 1930s, LUKAC arrived in UK in 1940, served briefly in the British army, returned to Czechoslovakia in 1945 and, in the following year arrived, for the second time, in the UK. Over the next few years LUKAC acted as intermediary between a Czech Military Intelligence officer based in London and some agents he was running here. Subsequent efforts by the Home Office to deport him to Czechoslovakia proved unsuccessful
