Description:

Richard SANKEY, alias Stanislaw NESVADBA, Stanislaw NESVABA: Czech. SANKEY arrived in UK in 1939. He established himself in various business interests (he was described as a 'ruthless opportunist and adventurer') and became prominent in both the British Czech Friendship League, a Communist dominated organisation, and in local Labour Party politics. There is strong evidence that he was an agent of the Czech or Russian Intelligence Service, or both
