Description:

This dataset consists of digital map data identifying woodlands of 2 hectares and over in the former Grampian Region of Scotland. The maps were produced to accompany the pilot of the main woodland survey of the National Inventory of Woodland and Trees (NIWT), which was conducted in Grampian Region in 1993-1994. They were derived from digital maps produced by the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute (MLURI) for the Land Cover of Scotland 1988 survey.

Note: NDAD were not able to successfully interpret the map data in the proprietary format in which it was sent. Therefore it has not been possible to describe the structure of the data. Consequently this dataset is not available.
