Theodore KOLLEK, alias Teddy: Austrian, Palestinian, Israeli. Mukhtar of the village of Ein Gev from 1937, KOLLEK was connected with Haganah and joined the Jewish Agency as a security officer, working for it in Jerusalem and London, where he was suspected of having an intelligence function. He was later head of the Israeli arms-purchasing agency and head of the Prime Minister's Secretariat. There are brief references to others important in the foundation of Israel: Chaim Weizmann, David Ben-Gurion, Abba Eban and Golda Meir
