Reference: KV 2/2257
Description:

Nicholas WOLKOFF: Russian. WOLKOFF was naval attaché to the Imperial Russian Embassy in London in 1916. In 1922 he was thought to be helping to organise the overthrow of the Soviet government from London. Indications that he had in fact been working for Soviet Intelligence seem doubtful if his many later expressions of support for Hitler's Germany are taken as genuine. He was interned during the war for these pro-Nazi views. His daughter, Anna WOLKOFF was imprisoned early in the War for assisting the enemy
