Description:

Vladimir Vasilievitch KOLOSOVSKY: Ukrainian/German. Having served as a soldier under the Czar, KOLOSOVSKY came to notice in Berlin in the 1920s in connection with a Soviet sabotage unit. Under journalistic cover, he was also thought to be gathering technical intelligence for the Red Army. In the late 1920s he was thought to be an agent of the Germans in the Russian emigre community and an adviser on Russian military affairs. He visited the UK in 1935 but was not allowed to stay.
