Description:
Content: Folios 286-287. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to the Reverend David Roberts, Llangedwyn Parsonage [Vice-Chairman of the Guardians of the Llanfyllin Union] concerning the guardians' proposal to allow Thomas Edwards to remain medical officer for Llansantffraid without residing there. The Board acknowledge the importance of the rules laid down in the Consolidated Order but think these will be complied with if the agreement entered into is observed.
