Content: Folios 276-277. Letter from William Jones, Clerk to the Guardians of the Llanfyllin Union, to the Poor Law Board enclosing a copy of resolutions passed by the guardians. The sick dietary table recommended for sick paupers in the workhouse by Mr Evans [David Evans], Medical Officer, was adopted. The guardians resolved to ask the Commissioners [Poor Law Board] to write to the master of the workhouse reprimanding him, as he had been twice censured by the guardians for neglect of duty and especially for absenting himself from the workhouse, and was absent again for three hours in the evening of the day he was censured.
